Sr. .Net Developer

Location: Nashville, TN

Duration: 12 months Contract

Start: ASAP

PinnacleWare, LLC is seeking a Sr. .Net Developer to work as a part of our Development team. The ideal candidate is a self-motivated developer who has the desire to excel in developing in .NET applications and websites and who is comfortable and competent at interacting with customers, defining requirements and managing team/project action items and priorities.

Qualified candidates should have:

·         A minimum of 5 years development experience in SQL, .Net and web development and 1 year SharePoint Development.

(Client is using SQL Server 05 and 08; Visual Studio 03, 05, 08 and possibly 10 soon).

·         Self motivated with minimal direction.

·         Strong troubleshooting skills.

·         Strong T-SQL skills and strong stored procedure development.

Must be experienced with:

·         Complex joins

·         Table design

·         Performance tuning

·         Ability to create complex queries without built in query designer

·         ASP.Net web development experience

·         C#

·         HTML

·         JavaScript

·         XML/XSLT

·         Strong documentation experience Preferred skills include:

·         Large scale enterprise projects

·         Insurance and/or accounting experience

·         SQL Server reporting services (SSRS)

·         Migration of early versions of .Net to 3.5 framework

The position also requires experience in working with and developing against SQL server or equivalent databases and in integrating with IIS, or equivalent web servers. Also, experience in other environments, such as any Unix/Linux based systems, is a plus. This position involves interaction with other team members, client, and management, so the ideal candidate will have strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science or Equivalent
• Minimum of 5-7 years experience developing .Net Applications
• Minimum 5 of coding applications to use and interact with MSSQL servers
